Serverless was a revolution. Now it's a trap.

✗The "Success" Tax
Go viral? You get punished. Serverless platforms charge massive markups on data transfer (~$40/100GB). A $5 VPS usually includes 20TB (Terabytes) of traffic for free.
✗The Cold Start
Serverless functions "sleep" to save the provider money. Your first user waits 3-5 seconds. Exodus apps stay in RAM, responding in < 50ms.
✗The Lock-in
Proprietary runtimes means you can't leave. Exodus uses standard Docker containers. You can migrate anywhere, anytime.
One Command Pipeline
Don't burn your time. Don't burn your server. Exodus compiles locally, ships the artifact, and runs perfectly on cheap hardware.

We automate the DevOps fortress so you can sleep at night. No manual config required.
Firewall & Fail2Ban
Exodus blocks all ports except 80/443. It watches logs and bans bot IPs instantly.
Auto-Renewing SSL
Caddy handles unlimited Let's Encrypt certificates. You get green locks automatically.
Blue/Green Deploys
New container starts → Health checks pass → Traffic swaps. Zero downtime updates.
Instant Rollbacks
Broke production? exodus rollback reverts traffic in 3 seconds.
Multi-Tenancy
Host Client A and Side Project B on the same $5 VPS. Fully isolated containers.
Secrets Management
Env vars are encrypted at rest and injected at runtime. Never committed to git.

Your Server.
Your Rules.
Exodus is just a CLI that configures standard tools (Docker, Caddy) for you.
It writes and manage the Dockerfiles. It configures the reverse proxy. It sets up the SSL.
Even if I disappear tomorrow, your server keeps running. There is no vendor lock-in.

A Note from the Founder
I built Exodus because I realized that "Serverless" is just fancy marketing for an AWS wrapper with a 500% markup.
Big platforms have convinced us that managing servers is "scary" just to sell us the solution. The truth? Any competent dev could set this up in a weekend.
I just packaged that weekend into a single command.
PS: This website is deployed on a $5 Hetzner VPS using Exodus. I don't just sell it; I rely on it.
Common Questions
You only need two things:
- A clean Ubuntu VPS. We recommend Hetzner (~$5/mo), DigitalOcean, or Linode.
- SSH Access. You must be able to SSH into that server (e.g.,
ssh root@ip).
Once you have the IP address, run exodus connect and we handle the rest (Docker installation, Firewall config, etc).
Yes. Exodus is fully compatible with App Router, Server Actions, and API routes. We utilize the official Next.js output: 'standalone' mode, so if it runs in Docker, it runs on Exodus.
Absolutely. This is our main advantage over other tools (like Coolify/Dokku). Because Exodus compiles your app locally (on your machine or CI) and only uploads the lightweight artifact, your server never crashes from OOM (Out of Memory) errors during builds.
Never. Exodus is a CLI tool that runs entirely on your machine (or CI pipeline). It uses your local SSH agent or keys just like your terminal does. We (the company) never see your keys, your code, or your server access. It is a direct connection from You → Your Server.
You are not locked in. Exodus creates just configures docker containers and caddy on your server. If you uninstall the CLI, your apps keep running. You can simply SSH in and manage Docker & Caddy manually.
You can spin up a Postgres or Redis container alongside your app using Docker manually. We are adding a one-click database provisioning command in the next update.
No. You need to buy a fresh Ubuntu server, and run exodus init once. We automatically set up the Firewall, Fail2ban, Docker, and Caddy (SSL). After that, you just deploy code.
